Dar Global and The Trump Organization have announced two major global milestones that mark a new chapter for luxury hospitality and investment innovation. The partners have confirmed the launch of Trump International Hotel Maldives, the brand’s first entry into the Maldives, along with the world’s first tokenized hotel development project tied directly to a luxury resort under construction.
Revealed in Dubai, the collaboration introduces the Trump brand to one of the world’s most coveted destinations and brings a breakthrough financial model to the hospitality sector. Unlike previous tokenization initiatives that focus on completed assets, this project tokenizes the development phase itself. Investors will be able to participate from inception in a high value hospitality project backed by a leading global developer.
Located twenty five minutes by speedboat from Malé, Trump International Hotel Maldives will comprise around eighty ultra luxury beach and overwater villas. The resort promises exceptional levels of privacy, design and service for global travellers and is scheduled to open before the end of 2028.
Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of The Trump Organization, said the project signals a major moment for the brand. “We are delighted to bring the Trump brand to the Maldives in collaboration with Dar Global. This development will not only redefine luxury in the region but also set a new benchmark for innovation in real estate investment through tokenization.”
Ziad El Chaar, CEO of Dar Global, said the partnership showcases the company’s commitment to shaping the future of luxury development. “Dar Global continues to push boundaries, from developing world class destinations to pioneering new investment structures. Tokenizing the development of Trump International Hotel Maldives marks a global first that blends luxury, innovation and technology in a way that will transform how the world invests in hospitality.”
The announcement reinforces Dar Global’s growing reputation as a future focused developer with a portfolio spanning Europe, the Middle East and Africa. It also expands The Trump Organization’s footprint into one of the travel industry’s most aspirational markets.
Both companies say the project represents the beginning of a new era where luxury hospitality and financial innovation move together, offering travellers and investors a fresh way to engage with world class destinations.
