W Hotels will bring a new perspective to the Mediterranean island of Sardinia with the opening of W Sardinia – Poltu Quatu this Summer in August. Poltu Quatu, meaning ‘hidden port’, is a coveted gem set on the north-east emerald coastline of the island, between Porto Cervo and Baia Sardinia, opposite the pristine archipelago of La Maddalena. The picturesque white village is nestled within a natural fjord and surrounded by granite rocks shaped by the wind, lush landscape and crystal-clear water.
The new hotel will feature 154 distinct guestrooms and suites, TANIT seafood restaurant, overlooking the buzzy marina, a beach club, reachable exclusively by boat, signature W Lounge, poolside WET Deck, AWAY Spa and FIT Fitness center.
The sophisticated design, with its pastel natural colours and handcrafted wood and stone elements, is inspired by the locale, bringing to life the rich history of the island, reimagined with a modern and bold twist.
W Sardinia – Poltu Quatu is owned by Castello Sgr, leading asset management company active in the real estate sector and controlled by Anima Group and is managed by Marriott international under the W Hotels brand.
