A fresh wave of flavour and fun hits the capital with the opening of Bayside Burger Co., the new waterside hotspot bringing easy-going beach culture, retro vibes, and seriously juicy burgers to Yas Bay.
Overlooking Yas Beach, Bayside is where the everyday turns remarkable. With space for 81 guests – 31 indoors and 50 on the waterfront terrace – the venue combines vibrant retro-inspired interiors with a modern design edge and easy-breezy vibes. Think sunshine-yellow accents, playful details, a neon glow, and just the right amount of good chaos.
The menu centres on classics crafted with care. Burgers come on house-made Hokkaido-style soft buns, baked fresh daily and filled with wagyu beef patties that are smashed, stacked, and bursting with flavour. The Classic Cheeseburger layers wagyu, cheddar, burger sauce, and sliced dill pickles for a nostalgic bite, while the Signature Smash brings together a double wagyu patty smashed with thin-cut caramelised onions, American cheddar, and secret sauce. For something richer, the BBQ Bacon Jam burger mixes double wagyu with cheddar, smoky barbecue sauce, bacon jam, and grilled bacon – a bold and satisfying combination that never disappoints.
Fries get their own moment, too. The Big Kahuna Loaded Fries are a full experience, layered with chopped wagyu beef, cheese sauce, bacon, bacon jam, sour cream, pickled jalapeños, and chives – an indulgent, over-the-top dish designed for sharing but loved by those who refuse to.
On the sweet side, Bayside offers soft-serve cones, Sundaes, classic milkshakes (served with extra on the side!), soda fountain drinks, and slushies, available in alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions.
With frozen cocktails like the Mai Thai and Margarita and ice-cold beers – choose between drafts, bottles and topless cans (a first in the city) – mixers, wine and bubbles, the menu offers easy options for young and old to enjoy.
“We wanted to create a place with a casual feel where you can be comfortable coming straight from the beach or a show, and have a juicy burger, a cool drink, and end up staying much longer than you planned – it’s an experience,” says Co-founder Peter Samaha.
“Bayside isn’t just about burgers; it’s about the spontaneous fun moments that make a day with friends and family memorable. Share a Sundae, enjoy a round of draught beers before a show; no reservations are required or accepted. We’re excited to add something fresh, fun, and unmistakably to Yas Bay’s waterfront,” adds Co-founder Nadim Selbak.
Bayside also caters to families with a dedicated kids’ menu, offering little beachgoers a lineup of mini classics and easy favourites designed just for them.
Located directly on the Yas Bay promenade, Bayside Burger Co. channels a relaxed beachside energy into one of Abu Dhabi’s most vibrant destinations.
