The iconic Waldorf Astoria New York has officially reopened following an unprecedented restoration led bySkidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) and Pierre-Yves Rochon (PYR). Once described by Conrad Hilton as “The Greatest of Them All,” the landmark now re-emerges with:

Fully restored Art Deco heritage and meticulously preserved historic murals
A transformation from 1,400 rooms to 375 oversized guest rooms + 372 residences
Three new culinary concepts including Lex Yard by Chef Michael Anthony, the reborn Peacock Alley, and Yoshoku, a fine-dining Japanese experience

Ahead of its opening in 2026, Waldorf Astoria London Admiralty Arch has announced two marquee dining concepts led by two globally-celebrated chefs, whose eponymous restaurants together hold seven Michelin stars:

Coreus by Clare Smyth MBE — Located in the former home of the First Sea Lord, Coreus will be Clare Smyth’s fine dining celebration of the United Kingdom’s bountiful seas, coastal regions and farms, created exclusively for Waldorf Astoria London Admiralty Arch. Smyth will also be bringing her intimate and stylishWhiskey & Seaweed bar concept to Waldorf Astoria London Admiralty Arch. The bar takes its name from the cocktail inspired by Smyth’s iconic dish, ‘Potato and Roe’, at her Notting Hill venue

Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud — Café Boulud marks Chef Boulud’s much-anticipated return to London, where he will bring his timeless French sensibility to Waldorf Astoria London Admiralty Arch. The all-day dining restaurant will feature a breakfast offering of Café Boulud classics, signature pastries and specialty drinks and afternoon tea, followed by lunch and dinner menus highlighting the restaurant’s hero dishes.

The collaboration with Waldorf Astoria London Admiralty Arch to open Coreus and Café Boulud will create a world-class gastronomic destination in one of London’s most iconic landmarks.
