The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace, Khajuraho: Opening 16th November 2025
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Panna National Park, The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace stands majestically atop the Maniyagarh Hills. Built by Maharaja Hinu Pat of the Bundela Dynasty, the 350- year-old lovingly restored palace features grand vaulted interiors adorned with paintings of exotic birds and offers views over its lush and vast gardens and the rainwater fed lake at its heart.

Just ten minutes from Panna National Park and Tiger Reserve and under half an hour from the UNESCO World Heritage temples of Khajuraho, The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace rests within expansive gardens shaded by ancient Sal and Palash trees. At its heart lies a serene natural lake, framed by lush foliage and flowering plants.

The Oberoi, Rajgarh Palace radiates a timeless elegance with its harmonious blend of Bundelkhand tradition and regal splendour. The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace features 54 rooms and 11 suites. Dining unfolds against sweeping vistas at the hotel’s three restaurants, including Neer, set against the backdrop of the hills and overlooking Rajgarh lake; Shaurya which features recipes inherited from royal kitchens; and Samā, set in the courtyard of the palace serving inventive cocktails surrounded by the gentle sound of water and palace architecture. The spa offers rituals which draw on ancient healing wisdom and infinity pools promise moments of pure indulgence and serenity.

A distinctive element of the guest experience is the hotel’s Palace Historian, who curates storytelling walks through The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace’s hidden courtyards and royal chambers – breathing life into centuries of legend and lore. His narratives bridge time and emotion, offering guests a rare glimpse into a world where every stone and motif carries meaning.
