Spark by Hilton Set to Debut in Italy

Hilton have announced the signing of an agreement with ELE Spa for Spark by Hilton Milan Linate Airport, marking the debut of the Spark by Hilton brand in Italy. The 118-room hotel is due to open to guests later this year. Spark by Hilton will become Hilton’s 11th brand trading or pipeline in Italy and will mark its entry into the premium economy segment.

Spark by Hilton Milan Linate Airport will feature bright, functional spaces and thoughtfully designed amenities, including:

118 guest rooms outfitted with practical amenities, including simple streamlined furniture, an open closet, multi-purpose work surface and bright bathroom featuring Zero% bathroom amenities.
Colourful public spaces providing multi-functional seating, from communal tables to rocking chairs, offering plenty of comfortable options for guests to socialise or work.
Daily breakfast buffet comprising premium coffee, juice and bagels with spreads.
A signature Hydration Cart featuring complimentary still and sparkling water as well as whole fruit.
A 24-hour retail market, where on-the-go travellers can purchase food, drinks and other essentials around the clock.

The hotel will also feature an outdoor pool and fully equipped gym for guests to use during their stay, as well as three meeting spaces.

Located just 500 metres from Milan Linate Airport, the hotel will offer excellent connectivity for both business and leisure travellers, with the terminal reachable in around 10 minutes on foot or five minutes by car. Milan’s city centre can also be accessed in approximately 12 minutes via the recently opened M4 metro line, while Milano Centrale railway station is around a 15–20-minute drive away.

Alan Mantin, vice president, development, Southern Europe, Hilton, said, “We’re delighted to bring the Spark by Hilton brand to Italy. This marks an important milestone for our growth in the market and enables us to meet rising demand for premium economy accommodation. With its reliable essentials and friendly service, Spark by Hilton is a great fit for travellers who want to make the most of their budget, whilst experiencing the quality standards they expect from a stay with Hilton. Ideally located near Linate Airport, this hotel will become our 10th property in Milan, offering value without compromise and providing a convenient base for both business and leisure guests.”

Fabiano Rebecchini, chairman, ELE Spa, commented, “We’re excited to be working on our fifth project with Hilton and to be launching Spark by Hilton in Italy. This collaboration marks a significant milestone for us, and we look forward to opening the property later this year and welcoming guests to Milan.”

Spark by Hilton Milan Linate Airport will join Hilton’s growing portfolio in Italy, which stands at more than 130 hotels trading and pipeline, including the recently opened Puccini Hotel Milan, Tapestry Collection by Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn Rome Colosseum, as well as the upcoming openings of Quiete Taormina Naxos, Tapestry Collection by Hilton and Canopy by Hilton Milan Duomo.
